Where exactly are you located?
Just off Highway 26 @ the corner of NW Murray & Cornell Roads. We are in the parking lot right by the Safeway (Sunset Mall).
Why don't you let people shop early?
We care about everyone's safety. Sometimes, if we are ready we will open a bit early but often there are vehicles & large trucks in the market space and we do not want anyone to get hurt. Also, some vendors may not be quite ready to sell or may even away from their booth. It's not because we are trying to be difficult - we just want the best shopping experience for EVERYONE! Think of us as a store with a door :)
Is the market a non profit?
We are a 501c6.
Do you help new businesses?
1) We are a great market for new business and love to accept them. IT gives them a great "foot in the door" and we offer help, support & suggestions.
2) We also partner with Adelante Mujeres and offer “Incubator Booths ” for a couple of their start-up businesses from each year.
How does SNAP match work?
Our SNAP match is called Double Up Food Bucks because we are a part of the Farmers Market Fund Program. We get funding from them to offer a match of up to $20 each week for those that use their SNAP card.
How long has the Cedar Mill Farmers Market been around?
It was started in 1999. We have been in the our current location with our current market board and manager since 2016!
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, they are welcome! Please keep your furry friends on a leash at all times.
Do you have hot food?
Yes - we have hot food vendors. We do need a couple more
Why do you need volunteers?
The Cedar Mill Farmers Market only has ONE staff member. Since we are a not-for-profit organization, we run a very lean budget. We NEED volunteers to help us bring fresh, local produce & other goods to our community. It is a great place to volunteer!!!
